I'm Luke Buxton, a Registered Surveyor with more than 25 years of industry experience across Queensland. Over the years, I've worked on everything from residential boundary surveys and small developments to major infrastructure and government projects, giving me the practical knowledge to confidently deliver accurate results on projects of all sizes.

2001
Started as a Graduate Surveyor
Began a career in surveying on the Sunshine Coast, working across a wide variety of cadastral, engineering and construction projects while developing the practical skills that continue to shape my work today.
2005
Associate Surveyor
Progressed into greater project responsibility, managing surveys across residential developments, infrastructure and construction projects throughout South East Queensland.
2008 – 2011
Queensland Gas Industry Expansion
Worked as part of the surveying team supporting Origin Energy during the first stage of Queensland's coal seam gas boom. Responsibilities included surveying infrastructure and travelling to remote locations to establish exploratory gas well leases.
2010
Registered Surveyor
Achieved registration as a Queensland Registered Surveyor.
2016
Gold Coast Light Rail – Stage 2
Contributed surveying services to one of Queensland's largest transport infrastructure projects.
2017
RAAF Base Amberley
Delivered surveying support across multiple Defence construction projects, including detailed service surveys and GFIS production.
2018 – 2019
APA Gas Network
Worked on aligning gas infrastructure with cadastral boundaries across Queensland.
2020 – 2023
Residential & Development Surveying
Focused on boundary identification surveys, detail surveys and residential developments, refining efficient workflows and delivering a client-focused service.
2022
Registered Surveyor with Endorsements
Obtained professional endorsements, expanding the range of surveying services able to be provided.
2023 – 2024
Cross River Rail
Provided surveying services on one of Australia's largest public transport infrastructure projects.
2024 – 2025
Queensland Telecommunications Network
Managed statewide telecommunications lease surveys and cadastral support for major network providers, including Telstra.
2025
Endorsed Cadastral Surveyor
Achieved cadastral endorsement, allowing the certification of cadastral surveys throughout Queensland.
